The Half Size Kiln Dried OAK Logs Crate Combo with six NETS of kindling is a great size option for occasional & regular users. The Half Size Crate comes in a strong timber frame, pre stacked and full of Kiln Dried OAK Logs which are all a maximum of 25cms in length with mixed widths from approx 6-22cms, so no need to waste time stacking your logs by hand & finished off with a clear pallet wrap and topper for transportation, so just pick the logs you need and go light your fire. So much easier than loose logs

Oak burns hot and slow lasting a long time because of it’s density but it can take longer to get started so use plenty of kindling and smaller logs to begin with then once started sit back and enjoy a long lasting hot fire

Kiln Dried Oak is generally considered one of the very best logs and much sought after. It burns fairly slowly with nice flames and produces excellent heat even when only embers are left. It is categorised as a heavy hard wood with a deep ridged dark brown bark and rougher to the touch. Per ton of kiln dried oak it produces over 5500 kwh of energy (we usually advise not to use Oak in open fires as it can spit and be smokey until it reaches operating temperature)
